Originally from Greater Boston, Conor’s musical journey is stitched together from the defining moments of his life. Growing up the younger brother of another music-obsessed singer, he was first introduced to everything from Green Day to Desmond Dekker. As he began to understand his queerness, indie music became both a refuge and a mirror. That emotional connection deepened when he moved to New York City, where the culture welcomed him into the pulse of house, pop, and techno—a vibrant lineage of queer musical tradition.
Conor originally came to New York to pursue musical theatre, developing a classically trained voice at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. The technical rigor of that training grounded his respect for performance as both art and craft. After graduating, he threw himself headfirst into the gigging scene, performing original music at legendary venues like Rockwood Music Hall, The Knitting Factory, and Arlene’s Grocery.
By day, he was waiting tables. By night, he was hauling gear across the city—playing weddings, birthdays, and life celebrations. That repetition sharpened his musical instincts and taught him how to transform beloved cover songs into something personal and alive.
Now based in Los Angeles, Conor is using his national platform on The Voice to launch the next chapter of his artistry: developing original music, growing a loyal YouTube following through stripped-down covers and personal storytelling, and gigging throughout LA. His influences range from Elton John and Lady Gaga to Frank Ocean, Sade, and Billy Joel—iconic artists known for pairing vulnerability with virtuosity. Conor’s mission is to honor the greatest songs ever written by telling their stories in a new way—his way.
